a 3 hour (in person) lamp shade making course. Come and learn the basics with Ann and proudly take home your own 30 cm drum lampshade.
Come and have some fun with our 3 hour Lampshade Making Workshop at Nether Heage Village Hall - 10 am till 1pm. (Maximum 6 persons).
The perfect gift for someone moving to a new house, for someone you know who wants to have a go at making their own home accessories or a just a fun activity to do with friends.
Join Ann at Nether Heage Village Hall, in the beautiful rural Derbyshire and learn how to make your own stunning Lampshade.
This is a half-day, morning workshop in which you will learn how to make your own gorgeous drum lampshade.
You’ll discuss suitable fabrics, trims and alternative shapes.
You will then make a 30cm drum lampshade using either fabric that you have brought with you or from a selection available on the day. If you’d like to add a trim to your lampshade, bring that along too.
The workshop includes:
- Refreshments
- Morning Tea/Coffee and homemade cake
- All equipment
- Bring your own 1/2 meter fabric (preferably cotton)
- Comprehensive set of instructions
- More kits available to buy on the day to practice at home
The aim of the day is to have fun, learn a new skill and make something beautiful for your home.
